Upper Canada District School Board officials say that revenues and spending are on track with the budget passed for the current school year.
In the budget passed back in April, the UCDSB projected revenues of $470.2 million and expenses of $469.7 million for 2025-26.
Chief Business Officer and Treasurer Jeremy Hobbs told a recent board meeting that although there have been some minor fluctuations in revenues and expenses, the $0.5 million surplus projected remains unchanged.
He said the UCDSB continues to maintain a balanced budget in alignment with its commitment to responsible spending and its original budget that was passed by trustees in the spring.
A third and final financial update will be provided in April.
