275 families get food, toys thanks to Kinsmen Club’s Spirit of Giving program

Kinsmen Club of Prescott members are thanking everyone that contributed to help struggling families this holiday season.

Over the weekend, the club distributed donations to families that signed up for its “Spirit of Giving” campaign.

According to club member and organizer Art Hitsman, his team provided a full Christmas dinner and toys for kids to 275 households in Prescott, Augusta and Edwardsburgh-Cardinal this year.

All the items were collected from community members, including more than $2,500 in food donated at 107.9 Moose FM’s radiothon in November.

On social media, Hitsman is thanking everyone who helped distribute the food and toys, saying the initiative couldn’t have been successful without their help and support.
