Town of Prescott staff members say more than 100 cyclists will be riding through the downtown area in a few days.
As part of the Waterfront Regeneration Trust’s annual “Great Waterfront Trail Adventure” cycling tour, participants will be riding through the RiverWalk District and King Street on Saturday, August 12th.
The tour sees cyclists riding from Trenton to Cornwall from now until August 14th, passing through South Grenville during the last days of the tour.
Staff members say the cyclists are expected to arrive in town at about 8:30 in the morning and spend some time visiting local businesses.
They’re encouraging residents to visit the downtown area on Saturday to welcome the cyclists.
