The Town of Prescott have found a replacement for the outgoing CAO.
Town hall announced Mathew Armstrong, currently the town’s treasurer, had accepted the job effective May 31st. Armstrong will continue overseeing the Finance Department in addition to CAO responsibilities. Mayor Brett Todd says Armstrong has done fantastic work for the town in a number of areas the last few years. He called it an easy decision, adding he looks forward to working with him in the Fort Town.
Armstrong says he’s proud to serve the Town of Prescott and excited about the opportunity to build on already on-going success. He first became town treasurer in 2016 and is both a Chartered Professional and Certified General account.
