The Grenville chapter of 100 Women Who Care is gearing up for their next meeting. The group is holding its second meeting of 2018 at the eQuinelle Golf Club tomorrow night. Everyone is welcome to attend. The group meets every three months and each member donates $100, which is then gifted to a local charity voted on by the whole group. Member Diana Fisher says they won’t stop when they reach 100 women.
Last year, the group donated over $12,000 to local charities. The most recent donation – totalling $4,300 – went to Kemptville and District Home Support. Fisher says nominations are put forward leading up to the meetings.
