North Grenville preparing for winter roads

It may be a while before the snow flies but North Greenville has already started preparations.

The municipality is hiring nine seasonal winter equipment operators to keep the roads safe this winter.

A post on Facebook says the workers will operate snow plows as well as sand and salt trucks while maintaining roads and sidewalks.

Full details on the positions can be found on the municipality’s website.

The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. on Aug. 18.
