Communities and businesses across Canada, including locally, are lighting up in purple and blue to recognize National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
Officials say they’re showing support for inclusive employment, adding just over a quarter (27%) of Canadians have a disability.
They say creating accessible and inclusive workplaces isn’t just the right thing to do, it brings valuable perspectives, skills and opportunities to businesses and communities.
The CSE Consulting South Grenville office is turning on the blue light in recognition of the month.
