A 61-year-old woman is dead after a three=vehicle collision south of Smiths Falls.
OPP say they received reports about the crash at County Road 29 at Kitley South Elmsley Townline Road shortly after 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police say one driver, a 61-year-old woman from the area, was pronounced dead at the scene while all other drivers sustained minor or no injuries.
The OPP East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team is assisting with the investigation.
The highway remained closed for several hours and has since reopened.
While the on-scene portion is complete, police say their investigation is continuing.
