Police are reminding you not to strike out and fall victim to a scam when it comes to purchasing World Series tickets.
East Region OPP say scammers are out there, online, trying to sell tickets that don’t exist.
They say you should proceed with caution if you find tickets listed on questionable third-party websites or online marketplaces.
The seller, according to police, may not be legitimate and you should always use authorized ticket sellers or resellers.
Other tips include taking your time as fraudsters often create a sense of urgency and try to rush you into a deal
You should also use a credit card when shopping online as many offer protection.
