Several upcoming low cost vaccination clinics will give you the chance to get your pet vaccinated against rabies if you haven’t already.
The South East Health Unit says rabies is a deadly disease that can be prevented through animals getting their shots and the clinics are taking place on Sept. 17 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
In Prescott, you can go to the Prescott Works Garage on Sophia Street North where the Prescott Animal Hospital is running the clinic.
Vaccinations are $25, cash only, and your pet must be on a leash or in a carrier.
You can visit the health unit’s website for more information.
