Kemptville’s new practitioner-led clinic has its inaugural executive director in place.
An announcement from the clinic’s board says Kris Fournier has been appointed to the position at the health center which is aiming to connect 6,400 area residents to primary care.
The clinic was first announced in late April and will be located on the Kemptville District Hospital campus serving as the anchor of a broader primary care hub.
The announcement adds that Fournier brings a wealth of leadership experience, a strong commitment to collaborative healthcare, and deep roots in community-based care.
He has also taught at Algonquin College and is completing a Masters of Health Professions education.
It’s projected that the clinic will open in early 2027.
