Canada Border Services Agency is reminding cross-border travelers to plan ahead for a smooth trip this summer. Check border wait times and plan your border crossing using the CanBorder App or follow @CBSA_PBR on Twitter. Have your proper ID handy, and keep all receipts if you are cross-border shopping.
Remember the four F’s: fishing, firewood, fireworks and firearms. You can’t bring live bait into the country without a permit. Firewood isn’t allowed because it can introduce invasive species and disease to our trees. A permit is required to bring fireworks into Canada. Also, firearms or weapons must be declared at the CBSA port of entry.
