Brush and leaf curbside collection coming up in some areas

It’s a sure sign that fall is well underway.

Brush and leaf curbside collection will take place in the built-up areas of Cardinal on Tuesday, Oct. 27 and in Johnstown, Spencerville and New Wexford on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Brush and leaves must be at the curb by 7:30 a.m. on your collection day and prepared according to collection requirements.

Residents are asked to keep bags dry and not place them at the curb more than 48 hours before collection.

Collection is weather dependent and will only take place if winter conditions have not arrived.

Free brush and leaf drop-off will also be available at the Scott Road Transfer Station throughout November during regular operating hours.
