Eastern Ontario’s largest indoor garage sale is coming up fast.
Hey Day, an annual fundraising event for the Kemptville District Hospital, is taking place at the North Grenville Municipal Centre on Friday night and Saturday.
The sale is hosted by the KDH Auxiliary and it will see donated items on sale ranging from clothing and books to furniture and kitchenware, and everything in between.
Donations can be dropped off at the municipal centre on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
KDH Auxiliary Co-Chair Teresa Harrison tells the Vista Radio Newsroom that they are boosted by the number of people who help out.
“In a society now where so many organizations are struggling to get volunteers to join, we have over 300 volunteers.”
There’s no charge and it runs from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
