North Grenville on the list of best communities to live in in Canada

North Grenville is among the best communities to live in in Canada.

That’s according to the Globe and Mail’s national livability rankings which lists North Grenville at 56 out of 100 making it the only rural community in eastern Ontario to be in the top 55.

The rankings point to an abundance of publicly managed green space, modern amenities like those at the North Grenville Municipal Centre and Riverside Park and crime rates that are significantly below national averages.

They add that North Grenville is a growing community which is attracting an important balance of young families and seniors, a rare phenomenon in this part of rural eastern Ontario.

It’s the third time the publication has released the rankings which takes factors including economy, housing, demographics and health care into consideration.
