Prescott Town Council approves 2026 meeting schedule

Prescott Town Council has greenlit its meeting schedule for 2026.

Council will meet on the first and third Monday of most months with only one meeting taking place in both July and August.

Under the schedule approved by council, the meetings in January and February will be held on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, to accommodate a return from holidays and so council members can attend the Rural Ontario Municipal Association Conference.

With a municipal election scheduled for Oct. 26, 2026, an inaugural meeting for the newly elected council will take place on Nov. 16th.

That will be followed by further meetings through December.
