Light Up The Night Christmas Parade taking place Friday night in Prescott

There are just a few days left until Santa Claus comes to town.

The 72nd annual Light Up The Night Parade is being put on this Friday with the Prescott Fire Department organizing the event and everything that goes along with it.

It will begin at South Grenville District High School on Edward Street at 7 p.m. before then traveling south on Edward Street and then west on King Street.

There’s no cost to enter a float but those wanting to take part are asked to be at the high school by 6 p.m. and are encouraged to have lots of Christmas lights and music.

You can contact the fire department for more information.
