The work of the Royal Canadian Legion and their dedicated members who serve our veterans, military families, and communities across Canada are being recognized.
This is National Legion Week and several events are taking place at the Fort Wellington Prescott Legion, Branch 97, to commemorate it.
They include a Veteran Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday as well as a display of memorabilia.
Organizers say it’s a great opportunity to learn what the Legion does and how you can get involved.
Whether you’re a veteran, a supporter, or someone who wants to give back, they say there’s a place for you at the Legion.
