It’s nearing completion but it’s not ready quite yet.
Officials say that’s the current status of phase one of the Seymour Recreation Centre in Prescott.
They say the new sports fields and court surfaces are starting to take shape in the area around the Alaine Chartrand Community Centre.
However, they are asking residents not to enter the site at this time for your safety and to ensure the timely completion of the new facilities.
You’re being asked not to enter the park until the project is complete.
Prescott Mayor Gauri Shankar says the tennis and pickleball courts at the centre will have removable nets and posts which will allow for the surface to be used as a base for an outdoor skating rink in the winter.
