A 62-year-old man from Whitby, Ontario will have to return to the area in August to face drug possession charges. On June 22nd, police stopped a vehicle on the 401 near mile marker 716 for a traffic violation.
Investigation at the scene revealed the lone male driver was carrying various forms of cannabis. The officer seized 33 gms of Cannabis oil, 2 marijuana plants, 3 marijuana cigarettes, 139 gms fine cut marijuana and 45 gms of marijuana brownies. The accused was arrested and charged with possession.
