It’s being called exciting news for Merrickville-Wolford.
Village officials say they have been successful in their grant application to the Canadian Wildlife Federation Pollinator Habitat Restoration Program.
They say the funding received through the program will help create pollinator habitat that supports biodiversity and protects the natural environment.
Working in partnership with the Canadian Wildlife Federation, the village will create pollinator areas on H.F. McLean and the Wolford Township Garage.
They add they are looking forward to bringing these projects to life and will share more information and updates as work gets underway.
