Highway 401 eastbound is closed between Johnstown and Cardinal after a transport truck rollover.

Officials say that due to a separate rollover on County Road 2 that also occurred Tuesday morning, the emergency detour route has been changed to County Road 21.

Motorists should follow posted detour signage and directions from traffic control personnel.

Officials add that they are anticipating a closure of County Road 2 later Tuesday between Gullymeade Road and Riddell Road to allow for the removal of a transport truck involved in that collision.

Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes where possible.
