There will soon be a new place where visitors to the area can stay.
Ground was recently broken at the site of the new 80-room Comfort Inn and Suites in Kemptville.
It will also feature an indoor pool with construction of the hotel expected to be completed in 18 months.
North Grenville Mayor Nancy Peckford tells the Vista Radio Newsroom that the hotel means a lot to the area’s economy.
“Having a hotel does make it a more compelling proposition for some of the larger events and tournaments where they want to keep people close together.”
The hotel will be located in the Colonnade Retail Centre area.
