Gas prices continue to be on the rise and there doesn’t appear to be an end in sight.
President of Canadians for Affordable Energy Dan McTeague says we will see a couple of increases at the pumps leading up to Friday.
That will lead to prices reaching about $1.80 a litre across the province including right here at home.
McTeague tells Moose FM that a tightness in supply as well as the ongoing war in the Middle East are causing prices to surge.
“Markets continue to show incremental increases almost daily with prices going up.”
The war has closed off the Strait of Hormuz between Iran and Oman where around a fifth of the world’s oil supply passes through.
