Kemptville District Hospital has a new state-of-the-art diagnostic tool.
KDH officials say their new x-ray machine was delivered on Monday.
They say installation is scheduled to start this week, and the new x-ray machine is anticipated to be operational later this month or early April.
The hospital is thanking everyone who supported the KDH Foundation’s x-ray matching fundraising campaign, and Ottawa lawyer Gavin Murphy for doubling every donation up to $230,000.
They add the new x-ray machine, a GE Definium 656 HD Gen 6, will improve patient outcomes and timely access to quality care.
