Make sure you have your rain gear with you over the next couple of days.
Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning stretching from Thursday morning into Friday night, as a low pressure system from Texas drags precipitation into our region.
Senior Meteorologist David Phillips say we can expect between 40 and 70 millimetres of rain before Saturday morning, some areas may get more.
The heaviest rainfall is expected Thursday afternoon through Friday morning.
Phillips tells Moose FM it isn’t good news for trick or treaters either.
“We’d rather have no weather than the weather you’re going to get. It looks like it’s going to be rainy and windy.”
Phillps adds that it’s a good idea to include a rain jacket and umbrella as part of your costume.
Officials warn that all of the rain could cause flash flooding, water pooling on roads, and sharply-reduced visibility while driving.
