Watch the clock! Daylight saving time ends this weekend with the clocks going back

It’s almost time to “fall back”.

Daylight saving time comes to and end this weekend with the clocks going back one hour at 2 a.m. Sunday.

We will then remain on standard time until Sunday, March 8, 2026.

That’s when the clocks go ahead one hour to begin daylight saving time.

The change means we will see the sun set before 5 p.m. until March.

Daylight saving time first started to be observed in 1918.
