A new surgical operating table has arrived at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
Officials say the hospital performs approximately 4,000 surgeries each year and with three operating rooms, each one plays a vital role in providing care for our community.
They say the addition of a new surgical operating table means they can now make the most of our surgical spaces, further enhancing patient safety, streamlining workflow, and reducing the chance of delays.
The funds for the new table, $51,417. was raised through donations to the WDMH Foundation’s General Equipment Fund.
Hospital officials say they are incredibly grateful for the support of their donors in helping them to continue delivering safe, timely and high-quality surgical care to their patients.
