The Prescott Fire Department has revealed some details for how it plans to celebrate the holiday season this year.
With the “Light Up the Night” Christmas parade planned in a non-traditional format for this year, the Department has also announced Santa Claus will be visiting Prescott early next month. In a Facebook post, the Department says Santa will be riding around town on a fire truck, starting at 7:00 PM on December 3rd.
Mike Serson, a chair for the Light Up the Night parade, says this visit is free for anyone to attend, but that Santa won’t be stopping along his route at all. Serson also says the route hasn’t been finalized yet, and will be released within the coming days.
