Augusta Township is getting provincial investment.
According to the Grenville Community Futures Development Corporation the formal announcement will be made today during the Augusta Township Municipal Awareness and Volunteer Opportunity Day. Details will be released at the Maynard Recreation Centre at 10 Robert Road in Maynard at approximately 4:00pm.
The township haven’t said what the funding is going towards, or how much they are getting, but the money will come from the Eastern Ontario Development Program. The development program funds not for profit organizations like municipalities or municipal organizations.
