Leeds OPP have released the charges after a four day campaign on the roads this Labour Day Long Weekend.
As with most long weekends the OPP were on the roads in force and over 270 vehicle related charges were laid. Over 200 charges were for speeding but drivers were caught for other offences as well. A dozen drivers were caught without insurance, five vehicles were impounded after stunt driving charges were laid and two people were arrested for driving while impaired, to name just a few.
The OPP thank the public for their cooperation and understanding during the campaign. They remind you to call police if you question someone’s driving.
