Three men are facing charges after police raided a home in the Village of Cardinal.
The OPP says at around 10 in the morning on August 31st the Ontario Provincial Police Communtiy Street Crime Unit, the Emergency Response Team, the Grenville County OPP and the K-9 Unit executed a search warrant on a County Road 2 residence.
During the raid police recovered over $10,000 in stolen property, arrested three men and charged them. A 26-year-old from Edwardsburgh Township was charged with possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a schedule 1 substance, he was held in custody pending a bail hearing. A 45-year-old from South Dundas was charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a schedule 1 substance and failing to comply with probation. Finally a 50-year-old from Edwardsburgh Township was charged possession of property obtained by crime and possession of a schedule 1 substance.
The last two accused were released on promises to appear and stand before a judge to answer for their crimes in October.
