Prescott Fire and Rescue are bringing a big fundraiser to town.
This year’s Eastern Ontario Firefighters Association Golf Tournament will be teeing off at Prescott Golf Club on September 16th. The deadline to register is September 3rd and costs $300 to enter a team, $75 per person or $50 for members of the Prescott Golf Club. For the price of registration tournament participants get a round of golf, cart, steak dinner and prizes.
The event begins with a shotgun start at noon and there will also be a putting contest, silent auction and hole-in-one prizes. All proceeds from the event are going to Burn Camp for Kids of Ontario, also known as Camp Bucko. Bucko is a summer camp for burn survivors between the ages of 7-17. Now over 70 children attend the week long camp, which is put on free of charge to parents.
