The fireworks in Prescott are being moved to Sunday.
That’s the message from the Town of Prescott. Officials say that the schedule change is due to safety concerns for the firing crew during setup and the event. They say that the crew requires up to eight hours to prepare for the show along the waterfront. During that time, there’s the possibility of strong thunderstorms through the area.
While the fireworks are being pushed back to Sunday evening around 9:45, other events are expected to go ahead as planned tomorrow.
