MP Gord Brown Monitoring Prescott Border Crossing

Grievances on the Prescott border crossing have not gone unheard by MP Gord Brown.
After receiving a high number of complaints throughout the year on the border crossing, Brown has written to Minister of Public Safety Ralph Goodale looking for solutions.
Many of the complaints were in relation to wait times over an hour long and the under use of gates, with often only one in use at a time.
Brown’s letter was sent after a busy few days of travel over this past Labour Day weekend. Goodale agreed with Brown’s findings, stating the the border crossing was used inefficiently during the long weekend.
Standard wait times are roughly ten minutes Monday to Thursday and twenty minutes Friday to Sunday.
MP Gord Brown has said he will continue to track the progress of the Prescott border crossing.
