Grenville OPP are wanting everyone to enjoy the Halloween festivities and are reminding the public to do so responsibly. To reduce the risk of accident, police are asking that trick-or-treaters follow the rules of the road and not criss-cross the streets It is also recommended to wear bright or reflective clothing for drivers to notice Halloween goer’s out at night.
While being seen in your costume is part of the fun, Community Officer Suzanne Runciman says being able to see is just as important. Runciman recommends children swap masks for face paint in the interest of vision.
Runciman also asks that parents get involved in the night too and accompany their trick-or-treaters on their adventure.
