With Prescott’s main street on the decline, the Town of Prescott has taken the first step to stop the bleeding. The town has hired a new Business Retention and Expansion Coordinator who will be working with the local businesses to discover strengths and weaknesses, and develop strategies for local success. Prescott’s Chief Administrative Officer, Pierre Mercier, says that retention is only phase one of the project.
Mercier believes that this project will be crucial to the success of both the businesses of Prescott and the town itself.
