It’s Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in Prescott. The mayor made that proclamation at a Council meeting in late August. According to the proclamation, one in eight Canadian men will be diagnosed with the disease and about 24,000 Canadian men will be diagnosed this year alone. Prostate Cancer Canada recommends men get a PSA test in their 40s.
