Brockville Police warning residents to lock doors and windows after two homes are broken into during the night

Two homes have been broken into in Brockville. On Tuesday, Brockville Police Service says it received complaints from two homeowners in the north end of the city. Police believe both homes were broken into, during the same night, by the same suspect. A wallet and keys were taken from one home and a purse was taken from the other. Police remind residents to lock their doors and close windows at night. If you’re leaving a patio door open to cool your home, police say you should lock the sliding screen door.
