Drivers are being reminded that their vehicle’s windows can’t be be covered by a sign, poster or other non-transparent material.
Grenville County OPP say they stopped a vehicle last week that had its back window covered with duct tape and the driver was charged with having their window obstructed.
Police say they understand that there can be times where a window is damaged and needs to be replaced.
However, it’s the driver and owners responsibility to make sure that the vehicle is fit for the road at all times and that required repairs are completed as soon as possible.
