A tow operator faces a $365 fine after they were stopped on Highway 416.
Police say a tow truck, operated by a Quebec-based company, was stopped on Saturday because they were operating in Ontario without an Ontario Tow License.
Police sat the tow operator was heading to the greater Toronto area to pick up a vehicle and bring it back to Quebec which requires the company to have a license to operate legally in Ontario.
The fine was levied under the Towing and Storage Safety Enforcement Act.
The truck was also impounded for seven days.
