Battle of Ontario capturing attention across the Ottawa area

The Battle of Ontario is capturing the attention of both hockey fans and non-hockey fans in the region.

The Ottawa Senators have come back from being down three-games-to-none (3-0) in their best-of-seven first round playoff series with the Toronto Maple Leafs to make the matchup 3-2.

Ottawa can tie the series and force a Game 7 with a win Thursday night at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata.

Radio Voice of the Ottawa Senators Dean Brown tells Moose FM that he expects another boisterous crowd to be in place.

“It’s hard not to get caught up in things when everybody else around you is caught up in something so that’s kind of what’s happening now is that once again hockey has ignited the entire city.”

Game time is set for 7 p.m. with gatherings of fans anticipated across the area to take it all in.
