It’s that time of the year again in Prescott.
Watermain and hydrant flushing is scheduled to be done throughout May in an effort to enhance the overall quality of our drinking water.
Officials say it will be taking place daily between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and, while it improves water quality, it can cause temporary discoloration in your water.
This is a normal occurrence and does not pose any health risks.
If you experience discolored water, it’s suggested that you run your taps until the water runs clear.
