Prescott residents can expect to receive their 2025 War Amps key tags in the mail shortly.
Officials say this year’s mailing marks a special anniversary as The War Amps celebrates 50 years of its Child Amputee Program, which provides young amputees with financial assistance for artificial limbs, peer support and more.
Each key tag has a confidentially coded number and if you lose your keys, the finder can call the toll-free number on the back of the tag or place them in any mailbox in Canada.
The War Amps will then return them to you by courier, free of charge.
The War Amps receives no government grants; its programs are made possible through the public’s support of the Key Tag Service.
