You’re being reminded of some safety tips if you’re planning on going hunting.
East Region Ontario Provincial Police say you should ensure you make safety your top priority.
You can do that by doing things like telling someone where you will be hunting and when you will be returning.
Hunters should also wear hunter orange, handle firearms with care and attention at all times and never shoot unless you’re sure of your target and what lies beyond.
You are also reminded to never drink alcohol while hunting.
