Snowmobilers are planning an event to raise money for disabled kids this weekend.
The Nation Valley Snowmobile Association is hosting a North and South Dundas “Snowarama” ride on February 3rd.
Donations from the fundrasier will go towards Easter Seals, a charity that helps kids with physical disabilities by helping pay for prosthetics and running accessible summer camps.
Riders need to raise a minimum of $25 to take part, and you’ll also need to have a trail permit.
Staff members say the event begins with breakfast at 9:00 AM at the George Jowett Memorial Hall in South Dundas.
Afterwards, riders will make their way to the Mountain Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club House. Participants leave for the club house at noon.
A silent auction is also running right now until February 10th, and you can find more details on the Nation Valley Snowmobile Association’s social media pages.
