UPDATE – The road has since been reopened.
Part of County Road 18 is closed to all traffic while police investigate a single-vehicle collision in Augusta.
OPP Provincial Constable Dave Holmes says the incident happened shortly after 6:00 in the morning Friday on County Road 18, between County Road 21 and 6th Concession Road.
He says Leeds-Grenville Paramedics and firefighters from Augusta Fire Rescue attended the scene.
The vehicle’s driver died from their injuries. Police haven’t revealed the driver’s identity.
