A festival to celebrate the Labour Day long weekend is coming to Cardinal.
The Cardinal Festival Committee’s annual Labour Day parade is being expanded to a four-day “Labourfest” this year.
In addition to the parade and firework show, other events include a soapbox derby, a “canine water sports” competition for dog owners, and a beach volleyball tournament.
The festival is set to start on Friday at 8:00 PM, with a concert at the Cardinal Legion.
The parade begins at noon on Sunday, and the festival comes to an end on Monday.
