If your child has ever wanted to try organized baseball, they’ll have a chance to try out for the local team in just a few weeks.
The Seaway Surge organization has opened registration for its 2024 tryouts.
Staff members say that the tryouts will begin in early September for all ages and skill levels, but there’s no firm date set yet.
Teams will be available in age brackets as young as nine-and-under and as old as 22-and-under, and both single-A and double-A teams will be available.
Staff members also say that players will be divided into “east” and “west” teams in the 12-and-under and lower divisions, depending on where they live.
