With spring a few weeks away, a local soccer program is preparing to take on its players for this year.
Augusta’s Maitland Timbits Soccer program for kids ages 3 to 12 years old is holding a registration event later this month.
The volunteer-run initiative will give kids a chance to play an eight-week season from May 6 to June 24, meeting and playing every Saturday morning.
If you want to sign a child up for it, the registration session is happening on Feb. 24, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Soccer Den in Brockville.
The team that runs the league is also looking for volunteers interested in coaching during the season.
